Choose the right kind of edit
Add text for a note or correction, use a translucent highlight to call attention to content, place an outline around a region, or add a PNG or JPG image. Use White cover only for visual cleanup on non-sensitive material. Choose Redact PDF when information must be irreversibly removed.
Verify the exported page
Compare the edited result with the source at normal size and high zoom. Check page selection, placement, font size, opacity, image proportions, forms, annotations, and any existing digital signature. Keep the original PDF because editing creates a separate derivative.
