Prepare and order the images
Rotate camera photos before conversion, remove duplicates, and place images in reading order. Large differences in image dimensions can produce pages with different proportions, so review receipts, screenshots, and photographed pages together before creating the PDF.
Decide whether OCR is needed
The new PDF contains the visible JPG images but does not automatically make photographed words searchable. Continue to OCR PDF when users need search, copy, or accessibility support, and compare important recognized text with the original photos.
